The International Center for Health Concerns is a 501(c)3 corporation whose primary mission is to promote education and training in health care, specifically in the areas of alcohol and drug abuse intervention, treatment, and prevention. ICHC assists in the development of quality health care systems from a global perspective. We are a non-governmentalorganization that recognizes the benefits of providing information and resources to the civilian and militaries of nations for the purposes of:

• Promoting alcohol and drug abuse training in key nations throughout the world who are beginning to address their substance abuse concerns;

• Providing information on best practices in behavioral health care prevention, intervention, and treatment, including current research findings on the etiology of behavioral health concerns, with an emphasis on substance abuse.

ICHC achieves these goals in the following manner: 1) By building the capacity of the healthcare systems through policy development, resource management, systems thinking, and organizational and change management; and, 2) Training of key personnel to identify, assess, and treat substance abuse cases within their country
