ICHC has had extensive and exciting achievements internationally, including:
- Obtained agreements of cooperation with teh surgeons general of the militaries of Spain, Poland, Czech Republic and Portugal,
- Co-leader the Asia Pacific Institute on Addiction, Singapore, May, 2004,
- Led a United States and Portugal Exchange to US Navy and Marine Corps bases, Hazelden, Mayo Clinic, Betty Ford Center, 2002,
- Advisor to the World Health Organization, Pacific Division, 2002,
- Led the World Health Organization China Institute on Substance Abuse: Prevention, Intervention, and Treatment, Beijing, China, September, 2002, sponsored by Beijing Medical University and the WHO,
- Lectured in nearly 70 countries,
- International Advisory Board member, Hazelden, 2001-present,
- European Advisory Board Member, Commission on the Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF), 2000-2003
