Since ICHC was established as a not-for-profit organization in 2000, we have worked in a wide variety of fields, such as:

ICHC has had extensive and exciting achievements internationally, including:

  1. Obtained agreements of cooperation with teh surgeons general of the militaries of Spain, Poland, Czech Republic and Portugal,
  2. Co-leader the Asia Pacific Institute on Addiction, Singapore, May, 2004,
  3. Led  a United States and Portugal Exchange to US Navy and Marine Corps bases,  Hazelden, Mayo Clinic, Betty Ford Center, 2002,
  4. Advisor to the World Health Organization, Pacific Division, 2002,
  5. Led the World Health Organization China Institute on Substance Abuse:  Prevention, Intervention, and Treatment, Beijing, China, September, 2002,  sponsored by Beijing Medical University and the WHO,
  6. Lectured in nearly 70 countries,
  7. International  Advisory Board member, Hazelden, 2001-present,
  8. European  Advisory Board Member, Commission on the Accreditation of Rehabilitation  Facilities (CARF), 2000-2003
